Here is a sample of the food items I’ve made for some of the children in my life (nieces, nephews, cousins, friends’ children, etc). I usually start with a published pattern and make modifications as necessary. I’ve included links to patterns where possible.

I may redo the orange slices with a little variation of my own. A more orange color for the peel with a light yellow strip between the peel and the fruit might be better. If I’m feeling really ambitious, I’ll add light yellow in between the sections, too, not just embroidered on top. If I do this, I’ll try to draft a pattern suitable for posting.

I love crocheted food. Wish I had some to play with as child!
