About Me

I am.

I am in Portland.

I am typing.

You are reading.  I like you.

Okay.  Uncle.  My name is Tina Granzo and I am one of the many Michigan-transplants living in Portland, Oregon (which I love!).  I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for a year and a half; and graduated with a BFA from the University of Michigan.  My concentration at UM was Fiber Arts.

For the past 11.5 years I’ve had my own website/database design business (I apologize for the horrible website, I never seem to find time to redesign it), City Beautiful Design. I specialize in database-driven web applications.

For the past 11.5 years I’ve made very little art — unless you count crocheting food and other toys for my friends’ children.  I started this blog because it is sort of like being in school and having assignments.  I’m hoping that it will force me to be more creative and maybe even to make some art.

Thanks for looking.

PS I hate having my picture taken.  I am flipping off the photographer, not you. That’s me, two years ago in my kitchen.

Are you happy now, Marka? ;-)

If you can find/take a good one, I’ll consider it. :-*

I bet we could come up with something. I’m thinking about Halloween 2009. :^)

I’ll have to play some Twin Peaks clips for you some time. I’m thinking of being the Log Lady for Halloween. That would be a fab blog photo.

Nice. Look at all the booze… we must have been there.

Yes, indeed, you were! In fact, I believe it was you I was displaying my bird to.
